Privacy Policy

How Trident Pest Control collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information.

Trident Pest Control (“Trident,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a service of Trident Inspection Group, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit tridentpestcontrolservice.com or engage our pest control services.

This policy reflects our obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through our website, quote and contact forms, email and phone communications, and during the performance of pest control services. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to but do not operate.

2. SMS communications

When you give consent through one of our web forms, Trident Pest Control may text you about your pest control service. This section explains exactly what we collect for SMS, how we use it, and your options for opting out.

What we collect for SMS. To enroll you in text messaging we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including the date and time you opted in (your consent timestamp). We do not need any additional personal information to send you SMS messages.

How we use SMS. We use your number to send both transactional and marketing text messages related to your pest control services — for example, appointment confirmations and reminders, post-service follow-ups, responses to quote requests, and recurring service reminders. You opt in voluntarily, and consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Who we share SMS consent with. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates.

SMS terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out, and reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not affect any other way we communicate with you about your service.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (e.g., email delivery, analytics, hosting) under contractual confidentiality obligations, with our parent company Trident Inspection Group for coordinated service, and as required by law or regulatory authority.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies plus, with your consent, functional, analytics, and marketing cookies. You can manage preferences anytime via the Cookie Preferences link in our footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and regulatory recordkeeping requirements (including pest control licensing records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, then delete or de-identify it.
